Accessorize your home / workplace decor with these fashionable wall art pieces. Expect to release a joyful sigh when you glance their way. Eight unique designs to choose from: "a lucky pair" penny loafers, "rise above" platforms, "get a grip" Dr. Scholl's Sandal, cowgirl boots, roller skates, lady Ked's, and what I call "Wendy Y". All carry nostalgic value from grammar school years. Each design is originally made using free hand embroidery technique. I employ my bygone era treadle sewing machine (whom I call "Bessie") to tap precise stitches. By moving the fabric under the stationery "pencil" I am able to "sketch" out the subject. I use black thread to sketch over the top of the colorful fabric. It's similar to applique, with a touch of detail added for character. It's a process that brings me great joy. My wish is to transfer this heart-made energy into your life. You will have a nice conversation piece in your dwelling of work place, and a friendly reminder of how specail you are hen you take a vision break.
