There's a small spot at the north end of Schroon Lake in the Adirondack Mountains, where the Schroon River steadily empties into the top of the lake, bringing with it fine sand and clean crisp waters. We have spent numerous afternoons there, boat anchored, jumping in the water, running along the smooth sands, toward the lake, until we reach the edge of the bank, where the waters turn black and you can no longer see the bottom. This is that spot.
Bring a bit of the peacefulness of the Adirondacks into your home with this art print lovingly created by artist Heather S Vitticore.
