Vision Egg Separator

A ceramic egg separator shaped roughly like a classic Dixie cup, small and lightweight enough to sit comfortably in the palm of your hand. The body is slightly tapered—wider at the top and narrowing gently toward the base—giving it a stable, easy-to-hold form that fits neatly over a bowl or measuring cup.

Just below the rolled rim is a clean, carefully cut horizontal slit that wraps partway around the cup. When a raw egg is cracked into the top, the yolk naturally settles inside the separator while the egg whites flow smoothly through the slit, collecting in the bowl below. The opening is sized to allow efficient separation without letting the yolk escape, making it both simple and reliable in use.

The surface is finished in a smooth ceramic glaze with a soft, hand-crafted feel. It comes in a variety of colors—such as creamy white, sage green, deep cobalt blue, warm terracotta, buttery yellow, and matte black—allowing it to match different kitchen styles or be collected in sets. The glaze may have slight tonal variation near the rim or base, giving each piece a subtle artisan character while keeping the overall design clean and functional.
