The wine glass is clear and delicately formed, with a softly rounded bowl that rises from a slender, elegant stem. Its surface is alive with hand-painted pansies, arranged as if they’ve been gently scattered and allowed to settle naturally around the glass.
The pansies are richly varied in color—deep purples that fade into velvety indigo, bright yellows that glow like small bursts of sunlight, soft blues with a cool, calming tone, and gentle pinks that range from pale blush to warm rose. Each bloom is painted with the characteristic pansy “face,” where overlapping petals create expressive, almost whimsical patterns of contrast and shading.
Some flowers show bold, tri-colored petals—purple blending into yellow at the center, or blue tipped with soft white highlights—while others are more uniform, allowing the palette to breathe and balance across the composition. The brushwork is fine and slightly textured, giving the petals a soft, velvety appearance without losing the clarity of the glass beneath.
Slender green stems and small leaves weave between the blossoms, loosely connecting them as they wrap around the bowl. The greenery is understated, in muted tones that support rather than compete with the vibrant flowers.
When the glass catches the light, the colors shift gently—purples deepening, yellows warming, blues cooling into a glassy glow. The result is bright but harmonious, like a small wild garden captured in motion, where each pansy adds its own quiet character to the whole.
