Viking Knit weave is a wire weaving technique that produces a dense, tube-like chain, also known as Trichinopoly. It involves weaving wire around a cylindrical tool, such as a dowel, and then pulling the finished tube through a drawplate to shrink and tighten the weave. This process was historically used for jewelry and decorative chains during the Viking age.
