Johnson Plate Deep Dish Beets

A beautifully hand-thrown ceramic plate with a natural, rustic feel. The bottom half of the plate is coated in a light tan glaze, which has a warm, earthy tone that complements the handmade nature of the piece. The top and sides are finished in a soft light green glaze, creating a gentle transition from the tan base. The green has a smooth, almost semi-matte finish that evokes a serene, garden-like atmosphere.

The bottom of the plate are hand-painted radishes, each delicately detailed. The carrots are a vibrant orange with rich green tops, slightly whimsical in design. Their leaves are thin and flowing, extending outward in an organic fashion. The radish appear to have been freshly pulled from the earth, with slight variations in size and angle, adding a playful, personal touch to the plate.
