Nuno-felting is a process invented in 1992 by Polly Sterling, which combines extrafine wool fiber with silk fabric. The result is a beautifully light and soft piece of art-to-wear. Pamela Frame dyes some of her fiber and silk, and uses the highest quality fiber from several US suppliers including D and D fiber and Living Dreams Yarn, as well as recycled yarn from SewGreen Rochester and recycled Sari silk.
