Duyssen Necklace Turquoise, Agate, Chrysocolla, and Abalone

The necklace feels vivid and elemental, like a meeting point of desert stone and ocean shimmer.

Turquoise beads form much of the strand, their cool blue-green tones evoking open sky and clear water. Intermixed are pieces of yellow turquoise, bringing in warm, sunlit hues—mustard and golden tones that brighten the palette and add an earthy variation. Woven through both are beads of orange flame agate, alive with fiery bands and translucent depth, their rich oranges and subtle striping adding movement and intensity.

Spaced throughout the design are oval chrysocolla beads, their softer blue-green shades often streaked with hints of brown or teal. These ovals act as gentle visual pauses, their smoother, more blended coloration tying together the brighter turquoise and the dramatic agate.

At the center hangs an abalone pendant, shimmering with iridescent layers of blue, green, and violet. Its surface catches the light with a fluid, almost liquid glow, echoing the colors of the chrysocolla while adding a luminous focal point.
