Dorfman Fruit Slice Small Glass Bowl Gold Beet

This piece is made by hand from fresh gold beets and leaves that have been cured, aged, dried, and pressed.  Transformed into thin translucent sheets in a 14-16 day process, they are then fused to recycled glass. All the colors, textures, and irregularities are natural parts of the fruit. The bowl is then fully sealed with a sturdy, waterproof food-safe glaze. Handwash or wipe with a damp cloth, but Do Not Soak. Not intended for hot foods or liquids. Perfect for nuts, crackers, bread, chips, cookies, cheese, candy, and other such foods. Also suitable as a display piece or to hold jewelry, keys, candles, or coins.
