Hand-crafted from warm jeweler’s brass, this bangle traces the soft, meandering curves of Cayuga Lake’s shoreline. Each subtle bend and rise along the band mirrors the natural ebb and flow of the lake’s edge, giving the bracelet an organic, sculptural quality.
At its center swings a single piece of Finger Lakes beach glass, naturally frosted and smoothed by years of wave and wind. The translucent amber-hued fragment adds a luminous contrast against the darkened brass. On either side of the glass, clusters of recycled vintage brass beads—each bearing unique tooling marks and an aged sheen—catch the light in gentle glints, like sunlight dancing on rippling water.
A hidden slider mechanism allows the bangle to open and close, expanding for easy on/off and then contracting for a snug, comfortable fit on any wrist. Worn alone, it’s a quiet homage to lakeside memories; paired with other warm-metal pieces, it becomes part of a layered story of earth, water, and time.
