BMF Vase Green Ombre I

This hand-thrown ceramic vase is a beautifully sculptural piece. The curves flow seamlessly into one another, giving the vase a soft, organic rhythm and a balanced silhouette.

The surface is finished in a subtle ombré glaze that moves from warm tan at the top to a deep olive green at the bottom. Near the rim and upper globe, the tan glaze feels sunlit and earthy, highlighting the gentle contours and catching softly on the throwing lines. As the eye moves downward, the color gradually deepens into mossy mid-tones before settling into a rich, grounding olive green at the base. The transition is smooth and atmospheric, with natural variations that developed during firing.

Where the glaze pools in the curves between the two globes, the tones intensify slightly, emphasizing the dimensional form. The glossy finish enhances the depth of color and gives the piece a quiet luminosity.
